License Notifications

The License Notifications are available to send alerts to employees and/or supervisors regarding the status of the employees' license compliance.

NOTE: Supervisor Assignments are required for the Supervisor or Manager notifications.

This notification informs users when they will have a new Labor Distribution becoming effective on the current date which requires new or additional Licenses for the employee. The notification states which licenses are now required due to this change. Users included in this notification are any employees with a new Labor Distribution becoming effective on the current date AND additional Licenses are required. Note: This is a scheduled notification executed once per day. The Scheduled Task that executes this notification is the EDScheduled task.

EmpLDEffLicReq1--Labor Distribution Effective Level 1 - License Requirements (Employee)

This notification informs Users when they will have a new Labor Distribution added within X days, which requires new or additional licenses for the employee. The value of X for this level of license expiration is set up on System Standard Integer 4. The notification states which licenses are now required due to this change. Users included in this notification are any employees with a new Labor Distribution becoming effective within the days defined as Level 1 AND additional Licenses are required.

The System Standard Integer 4 parameter value is set up on on the Configuration section>System card>Application screen. Locate the record with the code of SYS (the description of System). Open the Parameters tab and enter the value.

System Standard Integer 4 sets the number of days in advance of a license expiration that the employee/supervisor/manager is sent a level 1 event subscription message.

This notification informs users when they will have a new Labor Distribution added within X days, which requires new or additional licenses for the employee. The value of X for this level of license expiration is set up on System Standard Integer 7. The notification states which licenses are now required due to this change. Users included in this notification are any employees with a new Labor Distribution becoming effective within the days defined as Level 4 AND additional Licenses are required.

System Standard Integer 7 sets the number of days in advance of a license expiration that the employee/supervisor/manager is sent a level 4 event subscription message.

This notification immediately informs users when one of their mandatory licenses has changed, and this change causes them to become non compliant with position/profile requirements. This is typically due to an employee’s license expiration date being updated to an expired date, or the license being deleted. Users included in this notification are any employees that have a change to any of their mandatory licenses.

This notification informs users when a mandatory or non-mandatory license will expire in X number of days, and denotes the date of expiration. The value of X for this level of license expiration is set up on System Standard Integer 4. Users included in this notification are any employees that have a license expiring within the days defined as Level 1. Note: This is a scheduled notification executed once per day. This notification informs users when a mandatory or non-mandatory license will expire in X number of days, and denotes the date of expiration. Users included in this notification are any employees that have a license expiring within the days defined as Level 4.

System Standard Integer 7 sets the number of days in advance of a license expiration that the employee/supervisor/manager is sent a level 4 event subscription message.

This notification informs users when a mandatory or non-mandatory license has expired. The date of expiration is also included. Users included in this notification are any employees that have a license expiring on the current date.

This notification immediately informs users when the Active field on a Position is changed from Inactive to Active or Active to Inactive. However, if the position has no required licenses associated with it, the notification is not processed.

Employees who are assigned this position, regardless of whether they have all the required licenses or not, are included in this notification.

This notification immediately informs users when a Position assigned to them has been changed, affecting the Licenses assigned to the Position AND this change causes them to have unfulfilled License requirements. Users included in this notification are any employees assigned a different Position, and the change caused the employee to have unfulfilled License requirements.

This notification immediately informs users when a license assigned to one of their positions has changed AND this change causes the employee to have unfulfilled license requirements. Users included in this notification are any employees assigned a Position with a License changed that causes the employee to have unfulfilled License requirements.

This notification immediately informs Supervisors or Managers (Supervisor Assignments are required) when a mandatory license of any of their employees has changed which causes the employee to become non compliant with position/profile requirements. This is typically due to an employee’s license expiration date to be updated to an expired date, or the license being deleted. Users included in this notification are any Supervisors or Managers that have employees that have a change to any of the employee’s mandatory licenses.

This notification informs the manager when an employee is assigned a new labor distribution which becomes effective on the current date and which requires new or additional Licenses for the employee. Users included in this notification are any supervisors or managers for employees with a new labor distribution becoming effective on the current date AND require additional licenses.

MgrLDEffLicReq1--Labor Distribution Effective Level 1 - License Requirements (Manager)

This notification informs the manager when an employee has been assigned a new labor distribution which requires new or additional Licenses for the employee that will become effective in X days. The value of X is defined by

System Standard Integer 1 in the System application. The notification states which licenses are now required due to this change. Users included in this notification are any supervisors or managers for employees with a new labor distribution becoming effective within the days defined as Level 1 AND additional licenses are required.

System Standard Integer 4 sets the number of days in advance of a license expiration that the employee/supervisor/manager is sent a level 1 event subscription message.

MgrLDEffLicReq2--Labor Distribution Effective Level 2 - License Requirements (Manager)

This notification informs the manager when an employee will have a new Labor Distribution which requires new or additional Licenses for the employee becoming effective in X days. The value of X is defined by

System Standard Integer 2 in the System application. The notification states which licenses are now required due to this change. Employees included in this notification are any Supervisors or Managers for employees with a new Labor Distribution becoming effective within the days defined as Level 2 AND additional Licenses are required. Note: This is a scheduled notification executed once per day. The Scheduled Task that executes this notification is the EDScheduled task.

System Standard Integer 5 sets the number of days in advance of a license expiration that the employee/supervisor/manager is sent a level 2 event subscription message.

MgrLDEffLicReq3--Labor Distribution Effective Level 3- License Requirements (Manager)

This notification informs the manager when an employee is assigned a new Labor Distribution which will require new or additional licenses for the employee and which becomes effective in X days. The value of X is defined by

System Standard Integer 3 in the System application. The notification states which licenses are now required due to this change. Employees included in this notification are any supervisors or managers for employees with a new labor distribution becoming effective within the days defined as Level 3 AND additional licenses are required.

System Standard Integer 6 sets the number of days in advance of a license expiration that the employee/supervisor/manager is sent a level 3 event subscription message.

MgrLDEffLicReq4--Labor Distribution Effective Level 4 - License Requirements (Manager)

This notification notifies the manager when an employee will have a new Labor Distribution which requires new or additional Licenses for the employee becoming effective in X days. The value of X is defined by

System Standard Integer 4 defined in the System application. The notification states which licenses are now required due to this change. Employees included in this notification are any Supervisors or Managers for employees with a new Labor Distribution becoming effective within the days defined as Level 4 AND additional Licenses are required. Note: This is a scheduled notification executed once per day. The Scheduled Task that executes this notification is the EDScheduled task.

System Standard Integer 7 sets the number of days in advance of a license expiration that the employee/supervisor/manager is sent a level 4 event subscription message.

This notification immediately informs Supervisors (Supervisor Assignments are required) when the Active field on a Position currently held by their assigned employees is changed from Inactive to Active. However, if the Active position has no required licenses associated with it, the notification is not processed.

Employees who are eligible to work in the Active position, based on any Labor Distribution that is in effect, and who do not have all the required position licenses are included in this notification.

This notification informs supervisors (Supervisor Assignments are required) when their employees have a change to their Positions (such as a position is added for the employee) AND the new position requires additional licenses for the employee.

This notification immediately informs supervisors (Supervisor Assignments are required) when a license assigned to the position of one of their employees has changed AND this change causes the employee to have unfulfilled license requirements. Employees included in this notification are any Supervisors or Managers that have employees who have a License assignment change to any Position assigned to the employee AND this change causes the employee to have unfulfilled License requirements.

This notification informs a supervisor (Supervisor Assignments are required) when any employees they have access to have a mandatory or non-mandatory license that will expire in X number of days. The notification gives the date of expiration and lists the employee name, license code, whether it is mandatory, and the license number.

The value of X for this level of license expiration is set up on System Standard Integer 4. Note: This is a scheduled notification executed once per day. The Scheduled Task that executes this notification is the EDScheduled task.

System Standard Integer 4 sets the number of days in advance of a license expiration that the employee/supervisor/manager is sent a level 1 event subscription message.

This notification informs a supervisor (Supervisor Assignments are required) when an employee they have access to has a mandatory or non-mandatory license that will expire in X number of days. The notification gives the date of expiration and lists the employee name, license code, whether it is mandatory, and the license number.

The value of X for this level of license expiration is set up on System Standard Integer 2. Note: This is a scheduled notification executed once per day. The Scheduled Task that executes this notification is the EDScheduled task.

System Standard Integer 5 sets the number of days in advance of a license expiration that the employee/supervisor/manager is sent a level 2 event subscription message.

The value of X for this level of license expiration is set up on System Standard Integer 3. Note: This is a scheduled notification executed once per day. The Scheduled Task that executes this notification is the EDScheduled task.

System Standard Integer 6 sets the number of days in advance of a license expiration that the employee/supervisor/manager is sent a level 3 event subscription message.

System Standard Integer 7 sets the number of days in advance of a license expiration that the employee/supervisor/manager is sent a level 4 event subscription message.

This notification informs a supervisor (Supervisor Assignments are required) when a mandatory or non-mandatory license for any employees assigned to them has expired. Employees included in this notification are any Supervisors that have an employee whose license is expiring on the current date.

This is a scheduled notification executed once per day. The Scheduled Task that executes this notification is the EDScheduled task.
