The Add Special Code - Org Unit Access button opens a screen to select an organization unit, and then grant or deny access to all special codes assigned to the selected organization unit.
Note: This button is only enabled if the role has access to special codes.
You can also deny data access to special codes by assigning special code exclusions to unions. The data access associated with an employee's union trumps all other data access associated with their roles.
To grant access to special codes in a specific organization unit and all organization units below it
The system allows Pass Through access for all parent structure levels above the granted organization unit. For example, if you grant an employee access to a specific facility at structure level 3, that employee is automatically given Pass Through access to structure levels 1 and 2.
To grant access to special codes in all organization structure levels
To deny access to the special codes in a single organization unit
To deny access to a single special code in an accessible organization unit
Classification
Indicates the access level to this structure level. By default, the access level assigned is Grant for the selected structure level and Pass Through for all levels above it. The access can be changed at any structure level.
Organization Unit
When an organization unit is selected, users are given access to all special codes assigned to that organization unit. The number of levels available and the label names depend upon your organization or corporate structure.
