Attendance Code

The Attendance Code screen stores codes used by the Attendance+ application for tracking variations between scheduled and actual hours, such as tardiness, absences, early/late breaks, leaving early, etc. Indicator and parameter configuration in this screen determine events where these codes are automatically assigned to employees via the calculation process. For example, parameter configuration determines the number of minutes after an employee's scheduled start time when an employee would be given an In Late attendance code.

Attendance codes may be assigned to employees in one of the following ways:

If available, Indicator and/or Parameter tabs open screens to view settings that determine processing rules specific to the open record. Note: For more information, see the Configuration section>System card>Indicators screen and/or Parameters screen.

The Audits tab opens a screen to view an audit trail on additions, edits, and deletions to the open record.

Record Management

Depending on the user's authorization level, the following actions may be available. Note: The options listed below are not available for some screens.

Replacing Record Values

Depending on the page displayed, the following fields may be available. Click on the link to view a description of the fields.

Description

Organization Unit

Category

The category of the attendance code (e.g. Edit, Departure, Late Break, Early Break, Arrival, Absence, etc.) as selected from the drop down menu.

Code

The alphanumeric short name or abbreviation identifying this attendance code.

Description

The label describing the attendance code.

Organization Unit

Select the appropriate code for this field. The number of organization unit levels available and the organization unit names displayed depend upon the corporate structure.
