Education Transaction Status

The Education Transaction Status screen is used to create and store transaction status options to be assigned to employees attending education tracking classes.

These status options determine whether the employee Passed the class, so that the course education requirement is satisfied.

To add a new Education Transaction Status code, complete the following steps:

  1. Open the Configuration section>Education Tracking card>Education Transaction Status screen.
  2. Click on the Add button in the left pane to create a new record.
  3. Enter a Code and Description to identify this Education Transaction Status code.
  4. The Classification is automatically set to User Defined.
  5. Set the Active field to Yes to activate this code. If the code is to be activated at a future date or if the code is to be disabled, set this value to No.
  6. In the Passed field, indicate whether this code indicates that the employee has passed the course requirements. Only classes with an Education Transaction Status code with the Passed field set to Yes will fulfill the education requirements of the related course.
