Exclusion Time Tab

The Exclusion Time tab is available on some policies. From this screen you can configure days and times that the policy is not available to users with this role. For example, you may want to restrict access to listen to Benefit Balances in TimeCall during peak call-in times.

There are several actions you can take from this screen.

The exclusion time includes all minutes on or after the indicated Start Time and before the indicated End Time.

The following exclusion types are available:

Daily

Restricts access to features during certain times of every day, or every X number of days.

Monthly - Day

Opens a screen to configure exclusions that apply during certain times on specific dates during the month and/or during certain months.

Monthly - Day of Week

Opens a screen to configure exclusions that apply during certain times on a specific day of the week during the month and/or during certain months.

Pay Period

Opens a screen to indicate the number of hours before or after the scheduled close of a pay period that access to a feature is restricted. You can configure the exclusion by pay period type (weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, or all).

Note: This exclusion time applies to transactions effective during the current pay period or the 2 days after the end (midnight on the last day) of the current pay period.

Yearly

Opens a screen to indicate the time frame on a specific date in a year where the feature is not available.
