Add a Predefined Note for Lunch Attestation
Predefined notes are standardized comments that can be added to transactions, such as clockings.
For the Lunch Attestation feature, the No Lunch override code is used to override an incorrectly applied No Lunch special code. When adding the No Lunch override code, it is recommended that you also add a predefined note to record comments as to the reason for the override. While adding a new predefined note for Lunch Attestation is not required, it is recommended for recordkeeping and auditing purposes.
To add a predefined note, complete the following steps.
- Navigate to Configuration section > System card > Predefined Notes screen.
- Under Actions, click Add.
- Enter values in the required fields.
- Code - the short code for the predefined note
- Description - the full description for the note
- Organization units - the organization units that can use this note
- Active - whether this note is active and available to be used
- Text - the words that are displayed when this note is used
- Text Editable - whether the text can be modified by the supervisor
- Pay-Period Note - select No
- Schedule Note - select No
- Transaction Note - select Yes because a list of predefined notes of this type appears when you add a note while editing a clocking (adding the No Lunch override code)
- Click Save.
