Override

The Override screen displays all override codes currently authorized to be used in the system.

Override codes are used by supervisors or payroll administrators to indicate conditions where the regular processing rules are not followed but are "overridden" for special circumstances. Some examples of Override codes might be Post to Previous Day, Pay Night Differential, Remove Double Shift, etc.

Record Management

Depending on the user's authorization level, the following actions may be available. Note: The options listed below are not available for some screens.

Editing a Record

Opening and Viewing a Record

Replacing Record Values

Searching for a Record

Depending on the page displayed, the following fields may be available. Click on the link to view a description of the fields.

Description

Organization Unit

Code

The alphanumeric short name or abbreviation for this override.

Description

The label describing the override code.

Organization Unit

Select the appropriate code for this field. The number of organization unit levels available and the organization unit names displayed depend upon the corporate structure.

The following Action buttons may be available in the left pane, depending on the page that is open:
