LaborView Item

The LaborView Item table lists all the LaborView options in the system, including those for both supervisors and employees. Users can choose the default and alternate options they want to appear in the drop down menus when approving timecards through the Preferences section> My Preferences card>Employee LaborView screen or Supervisor LaborView screen.

Note: Only the Name of the LaborView and the Active status are editable from this screen.

Name

Totaling Allowed

Active

Determines whether this LaborView is currently being used by the system and is accessible to users.

Category

Indicates whether this view is for the Employee LaborView options or for the Supervisor LaborView options.

Classification

Indicates whether this LaborView item is associated with a Pay Code or a Special Code.

Data Category

Indicates the type of valid data to be entered (i.e., date, integer, percentage, etc.). Select the option from the drop down menu.

Description

The label describing the LaborView.

Link Category

Indicates whether this LaborView is linked to an exception message (e.g. Critical Exception, Warning Exception, Information Exception, Pending Exception, Is Approvable, etc.).

Name

The alphanumeric short name or abbreviation identifying this LaborView.

Totaling Allowed

Indicates whether to create totals for the values in this LaborView (Yes/No).
