Resource

The Resource screen displays the resources (i.e. equipment, materials, refreshments, etc.) required for the instruction of a course/competency. Resources can be added, edited and/or deleted from this table.

Resources can be shared between multiple organizations. The total number of scheduled finite resources is tracked by the system, to prevent scheduling of multiple classes at the same time using the same resources. If there is a conflict in the resources for a class, a warning message is displayed. Default resource requirements are configured within a course, and exact numbers required can be modified.

The following Resource sections are available in the left pane when adding, editing or viewing a record:

Gives general information about the resource, including the resource classification (food, prop), units available, etc.

Indicates the organizations that are able to share the resource by a check mark in the box to the left of the organization level.

Note: This button is only enabled when the Shared field on the General tab is set to Yes.

Record Management

Depending on the user's authorization level, the following actions may be available. Note: The options listed below are not available for some screens.
