Default Selection Style

The Default Selection Style page allows the user to set the default selection styles for creating a schedule, for manual schedule validation, for the scheduling assistant wizard, etc. These Selection Styles indicate the rules that must be validated to determine if an employee is qualified to work the schedule.

Values entered in these fields are automatically defaulted into the corresponding fields in the application. These fields can be changed when actually running the processes.

Note: The selection style options that are displayed in the Field Look Up Values must be previously set up on the Selection Styles Configuration screen. The options that display for each field correspond to the options set up for the matching Type. For example, the styles that are displayed for the Create Schedule field were set up with the Type field of Auto Schedule.

Note: The default selection styles for self scheduling is set up on the Configuration section>Scheduling card>Staffing Configuration screen>Self Schedule tab.

Click on the Reset button to set the value(s) in the open My Preferences screen back to the default settings set up in the System Preferences screen.

Sets the default for the Selection Style field when running the scheduling process. Options that display were set up on the Selection Styles configuration screen with the Type of Auto Schedule.

Sets the default validations when manually entering employee schedules in the Schedule screen. Options that display were set up on the Selection Styles configuration screen with the Type of Edit Validation.

Sets the default validation used when incentive schedule bids are manually approved by a supervisor. Options that display are set up on the Selection Styles configuration screen with the Type of Edit Validation.

Note: The selection style used when the system automatically approves a bid is set up on the Configuration section>Scheduling card>Staffing Configuration screen>Schedule Incentive Selection Style field.

Sets the default for the selection style field when running the Scheduling Assistant Call In wizard. Options that display were set up on the Selection Styles configuration screen with the Type of Schedule Assistant Call In.

Sets the default for the selection style field when running the Scheduling Assistant Call Off wizard. Options that display were set up on the Selection Styles configuration screen with the Type of Schedule Assistant Call Off.
