Changing the Password

When you log on for the first time, you enter a default user name and password that your supervisor provides. When you successfully log on with these default values, the system will prompt you to change your password.

A message on the Change Password screen provides information about the password format to follow.

Tip: Administrators can change the password format from the Configuration section>System card>Authentication screen.

To change your password, complete the following steps:

  1. Enter the new password in the New Password field, maintaining the specifications displayed in the message box.
  2. Enter the new password again in the Confirm New Password field to verify the entry.
  3. Click Save.

Note: The password may have an expiration time frame (e.g. every 90 days). When the password is expiring or has expired, the Change Password screen will appear when you log on.

You can change your password at any time by completing the following steps:

  1. From the Actions section>Employee card, open the Change Password screen.
  2. Enter the current password in the Old Password field.
  3. Enter the new password in the New Password field following the format criteria in the informational message at the top of the screen.
  4. Re-enter the new password in the Confirm New Password field to verify entry of the password.
  5. Click Save.

The next time you log on, you must use the new password.
