Authentication

The Authentication page is used to determine required value settings for user passwords, including the length and minimum required characters to create strong passwords, as well as expiration and failed login values. Settings for automatic creation of user login names, passwords, and PINs are also entered here.

The following section or tab options are available when the Authentication screen is open:

Opens a screen to establish the requirements in formatting employee passwords. Automatic expiration and failed login values are also defined on this screen.

Opens a screen to view the messages that are displayed when an employee attempts to log into the system. The default message displays unless a custom description is entered into the Description field.

This tab opens a screen to define the automatic creation of login names, passwords, and personal identification numbers (PINs).

This tab opens a screen to define the number of characters to use from the employees' first and last names when automatically creating login names.
