Transaction Edit Counts by User

This report shows the number of transaction edits made to clockings, calendars, and adjustments by one or all users during the indicated date range. This report can be used to identify users who made many edits to transactions and who may need help in using the system more efficiently.

Fields include the user name and code, the number of clocking entries that were added, edited and deleted, the number of calendar entries that were added, edited and deleted, the number of adjustment entries that were added, edited and deleted, the total number of edits and the number of users that had 10 or more edits during the date range. There is a Grand Total line for all columns.

This report can be scheduled for automatic generation and distribution.

Report parameters include the following options:

• Employee: To run the report for a single user, click on the icon to open a screen to search for the user who made the edits. To run this report for all supervisors and controllers, leave this field blank.

  When this report is run for a single user, that user does not have to be a supervisor or controller.

• Date Range Type: Select whether to use the transaction date or the audit date to determine if the transaction falls within the entered date range.
• Start Date: The first date of the range to include in the report.
• End Date: The last date of the range to include in the report.
• Audit Grace Days: This value is only used when the Date Range Type is set to Transaction. It determines the number of days (0-5) before the Start Date that transactions audits are counted, so it allows transactions to be included when the audit date is earlier than the transaction date.
• Include Calendars with Activity: Determines if calendar transactions associated with an activity code are included in the calendar transactions being reported (Yes/No).
• Edit Type: The type of transaction (clocking, calendar, or adjustment) to include in the report, or set to ALL to include all types.
