Calculate Pay Group

Click on the Calculate Pay Group icon to send all the employees within the specified pay group through the Calculations process. The Pay Group Search screen is displayed to search for the appropriate pay groups to process.

• After entering values in the selected fields, click on the Search button. The results are listed below the search screen.
• By default, the boxes to the left of each record are checked to select all records. Additional searches with different filter options can be run to add to the selected record results set.
• To de-select one or more record, click on the box to the left of the record to remove the check mark. To de-select all records in a specific search result set, click on the box above the search results to remove all check marks.
• Click on the folder to the left of any record to begin the calculation process. An informational message appears indicating whether the job was successfully submitted.

The following fields are available for filtering your search:

Code

Description

Organization Unit

Code

The alphanumeric short name or abbreviation for this pay group.

Description

The label describing this pay group.

Organization Unit

Select the appropriate code for this field. The number of organization unit levels available and the organization unit names displayed depend upon the corporate structure.

Pay Period

The pay period that should be calculated. Select either Current and Next or Next.
