Filter Tab

Primary Sort By Column

Indicates the column of information the system should sort first, when ordering the data.

Primary Sort Direction

Determines whether the primary data field should be sorted in Ascending or Descending order.

When sorting an alphabetic field, sorting Ascending sorts A-Z, sorting Descending orders Z-A.

When sorting a numeric field, sorting Ascending sorts 1-9, sorting Descending sorts 9-1.

Note: If sorting an alphanumeric field, the numbers are sorted from left to right. Therefore numbers would be sorted as 1, 10, 100, 2, 20, 200, etc.

If sorting a numeric field, the numbers are sorted 1, 2, 10, 20, 100, 200.

Secondary Sort By Column

Indicates the column of information the system should sort secondarily (within the primary sort field), when ordering the data.

Secondary Sort Direction

Determines whether the secondary data field should be sorted in ascending or descending order.
