Add Existing Schedule

The Add Existing Schedule option opens a screen to search for existing report schedules.

The options that are displayed are the schedules that were created with the Shared field set to Yes. These can be shared schedules set up by the same employee for a different report or a different employee.

To add an existing schedule to the schedule for this report, complete the following steps.

  1. From the left pane, select the Add Existing Schedule option.
  2. Enter search criteria to locate the record, then click on the Search button.

    All schedules that meet the search criteria are displayed.

  3. Select the schedules to be run for this report by clicking on the check box to the left of the schedule name. Clicking on this field alternately adds and removes the check mark.
  4. Click on the Assign Selected button in the left pane to assign the selected schedules to the report.

Created On

The date this report schedule was created.

The earliest date of the range to search for the date a shared schedule was created.

The date that the automatic report generation cycle should end. If the application server start up occurs within the time frame of the start date/start time and end date/end time, the report is generated.

The earliest date to include when searching for a shared schedule with an End Date that falls within the range.

Schedules that begin on or after the Start Range Begin Date/Time and on or before the Start Range End Date/Time, and that end on or after the End Range Begin Date/Time and the End Range End Date/Time are included in the listing.

The latest date to include in the range to search for the End Date of a shared schedule.

End Time

The time on the End Date that the automatic report generation cycle is no longer in effect. If the application server start up occurs within the time frame of the start date/start time and end date/end time, the report is generated.

Interval

The number of times the units (days, weeks, or months) will cycle before the scheduled report runs again. For example, if the scheduled report is needed every other Monday, the schedule is set to run on Monday and the Interval value is set to 2.

Name

The alphanumeric label identifying the schedule generation cycle.

Repeat Interval

The number of minutes between instances that this report is to be run. For example, if this field is set to 480, the report will run every 480 minutes on the scheduled dates beginning with the Start Time. If this field is set to zero or left blank, the report only generates once per day.

Schedule Type

Indicates whether this report schedule should be run Once, Daily, Weekly, Monthly Days, Monthly Weeks, Startup, Immediate, or Continuous.

Shared

Indicates whether this schedule can be shared with other reports (Yes/No). When this value is set to Yes, other users can search for and use this schedule by clicking on the Add Existing Schedule button.

The earliest date to include when searching for a shared schedule with a Start Date that falls within the range.
