The General tab opens a screen to configure the basic information on the schedule, including the name of the scheduled report record, whether it is accessible to only the person creating the schedule, the delivery method and whether the schedule record is active.
Active
Indicates whether this report schedule is active. When this value is set to No, the report is not automatically generated.
Category
Determines whether this report schedule is accessible for editing to only the user who created it (User) or to everyone in the system that has access to scheduled reports (Organization).
Delivery Method
Determines whether the scheduled report is accessible to authorized users via the Scheduled card in the Reports section, via email, via the Notifications card in the system, or sent directly to the printer.
The following Delivery Method options are available:
Prepared |
The report is created and can be accessed by the user through the Reports section > Scheduled button in the left pane. |
The report recipients are notified through email that the report is available. The report is then either available via a link or is attached to the email as a pdf file (or both), depending on the selections on the Delivery Format tab. |

Portal Message |
Authorized employees are notified on the Messages card on the Home page that the report is available. The report is then either available via a link or is attached to the email as a pdf file (or both), depending on the selections on the Delivery Format tab. |
Printer |
The report is set to the printer that is specified on the Recipients section button, Printer field. |
Name
The name of the scheduled report event. This field defaults to the name of the selected report but can be updated. If more than one schedule is set up for the same report, each name needs to be unique.
