Replicate Org Units to SecurALL
The Replicate Org Units to SecurALL option opens a screen to search for and select organization units that should have a record created in the SecurALL Security Access application database.
The SecurALL Security Access application is used to allow employees access to certain areas and restrict them from others (such rooms where medications are stored). Access is usually associated with the employee badge or fingerprint. Authorization can be set up at the employee level or at the organization unit level.
To replicate organization units in the SecurALL application, complete the following steps:
- From the Actions section> Processes card, open the Replicate Org Units to SecurALL option.
The Organization Unit Search screen is opened to search for employees.
- Enter the search criteria in the fields and click on the Search button. Note: Only organization units with Organization Unit Indicator System Standard 1 set to Y are displayed in the results. Currently only trunk, branch, and leaf organization units have this indicator available for set up.
Organization Unit Indicator System Standard 1 determines whether this organization unit is included in the replication event to the SecurALL application.
Currently only trunk, branch and leaf organization units have this indicator option available.
Valid Indicator Options:
N
|
This organization unit is not replicated to SecurALL.
|
Y
|
This organization unit is replicated to SecurALL.
|
Note: This indicator is located on the Configuration section> Organization Unit card> Organization Unit screen> Indicators tab> System card.
- Check the box to the left of each organization unit name to select it. Clicking on the box alternately adds and removes the check mark.
- Click on the Send to SecurALL button in the left pane or on the folder plus icon .
- A replication event to the SecurALL database is created for all selected organization units. All of the selected organization unit's child organization units with Organization Unit Indicator System Standard 1 set to Y are included in the replication event.
A child organization unit is one that exists at a structure level in line below a parent organization unit. Organization units are parents of all organization units in structure levels in line below it and children of all organization structure levels in line above it.
To view a diagram of these relationships, see More About Parent/Child Relationships.
- A message is generated indicating the job was successfully submitted.

Note: The user can set whether the Basic or Advanced search mode is automatically loaded for each screen. This setting is found under Preferences section>My Preferences card>Search screen>Mode tab. The Advanced/Basic buttons only display on screens with Advanced search capabilities.
